it's been a while since i've wrote this blog. sorry girls, since i've been busy with lots of works... but i've been trying to set up a new website with a website designer -
made with love. frankly, i've been dissappointed, since the designer kept dissappearing:( although her designs were exquisite and nice, but it's just took too long to finish...:( gosh why is it so hard to find a good web designer that was responsible and good:( my previous experience with jasawebdesign.com also have another encounter with the same stupid problem. the work half done, and yet, don't know where. it's HALF DONE!!!! not yet done!!!! gosh i'm so stressed over this.
i've got quite lots of stuff to update though:) will do that once i have the time... been having trouble finding helpers for my house and work:( thinking of getting another admin staff despite the one we have. coz works have been piling and kept being pushed to last minute, and yet, you know i don't like being last minute:( so anybody who can have any recommendations, please do inform me:)

FIFA world cup Italy look!
like i always starts with, a prepped face...
after benefit lemon aid, here's the start, coastal scents shimmer red and matte red at 1/3 of the inner corner of the eyelids. next would be the shimmer pearl white color on the second 1/3 of the lids. remember to blend well...
next, would be nice shimmery green. now, i use all the shimmery colors, coz it does make the difference between the matte and shimmery, and i guess with such a rich mixture of colors, i'd prefer the shimmery colors. however, if you do prefer matte colors in anyway, you can switch to it.
this creates what it calls 'wave' technique. it's widely used by most of the make up artists to play with colors. here, i use it as the basics which then, i'll add somemore things. here i add little bit of blue hues at the outer corner of the eyes. then, drag the blue down to the lower lashline to create some color on the lower lashline.
this is roughly it. after that, is just some smoothing out... additional of medium pink brown color on the socket (socket area is the area where you can touch your eye bone that's protecting the eyeball) to create depth. add a pearly highlight color on the brown bone. then you're done. i use fake eyelashes from vietnam courtesy of
eyelashesguru... and also the black gel eyeliner to create the definition around the eyes.
and here's the result... i used givency blush prism again! and the face shop shimmer blush for the blush on, and dior lipgloss.

FIFA world cup ENGLAND look
this is meant for all the MU fans out there, i know some of my cousins are:) however, i dragged my sista to do this tutorial, coz i thought it would be kinda different. so here it is:)
i didn't really show my sista's bare face, since she's got lots of acne scars, which i guess might not be nice showing here, but this is all the prepped up look. since she's just 15, i didn't really shape up the brows for her (as my mom would be shouting if i do...) and not much of the shading i did. here, she's prepped with feverlet BB cream ( to soothe the pimples and little acnes also) and then i add with shiseido sheer make up enhancer in pearl white, kanebo coffret d'or beauty essence liquid foundation in ocre-B. next i top it up with la praire cellular treatment loose powder.
zoom into the eyes, before i add colors, i also prepped the eyes, with benefit lemon aid, and coastal scents matte white color on the whole eyelids. then i add coastal scents shimmery pearl white to inner half of the lid. then i add coastal scents matte red mixed with shimmery red on the outer half of the eyelids to create an outer V. if you realize that already, the red looks like the letter "V".
next, blend well of the 2 colors, and add black color starting on the outer half of the lashline outwards, creating a little 'wing-ed' look! it's to give the illusion of length and depth.
go as closer to the lashline. again, blend well. then, using a very small pencil brush, add the mixture of reds onto the lower lashline. it's up to 2/3 of the lower lashline to create the shadow, and depth. then add the black gel liner (here i use bobbi brown long wear gel eyeliner in black ink... it's almost dried up though, thinking of getting a new one... hehehe:P ) on the upper lids, going from very thin on the inner corner of the eyes, and going thicker and thicker as it goes to the outer end of the eyes. with this kind of eyes (deep creased), make sure that the liner is thick enough to be noticeable, unless it would just dissappear when the eyes open. then add the black liner to the outer half of the lower lashline as well. it's to create a more dramatic look.
in addition, fake eyelashes are added to create that dramatic look for England. it's the same set of the fake eyeslashes i put on myself for the brazil look! it's just so nice that i had to use it twice...:P
for the cheeks, i add the prism colors from givency, and l'oreal glam blush. love love the colors too!! and for the lips, i add a nude brown color by dior and clear red glittery gloss by sisley. it's just perfect for this look. oh ya, and also i add the same pearly white color to the 1/3 inner corner of the lower lashline (the part whereby wasn't touched by the reds), besides to be as a whole, it's also to open up the eyes.however, make sure those of you who has puffy eyes to avoid this technique. it will make your eyes looked even puffier.

world cup BRAZIL look!!this is a make up look that can be applied to anyone. my eyes is the kind not really suitable for colors, however, i did this anyway just for you girls. it's also to celebrate the FIFA world cup 2010 which will be conducted in south africa, one of my favorite place to be in actually.
now, begin with a prepped face. i've already done with my moisturizer, make up base, foundation (i used
feverlet BB cream for this though... ), and some shadings in sunkissed areas, like jaw lines, temples, and my sides of the face so as to let the face appear smaller (since i'm quite plum...:P )i used
estee lauder bronzer for this...
zoomed into the eyes area, i prepped my eyes with eye primer (
benefit lemon aid), and starts with very nice yellow. here i used
red earth acid 5 in yellow, mixed with coastal scents second yellow (2nd row, 2nd column) and i add a little of yellow shimmer by
the face essentials dusting powder in yellow. the yellow goes all the way up to the brow bone. mind the lashline, try not to leave any gaps there.
next, add the green. here i used
the make up forever star powder no. 916 mixed with coastal scents third green (3rd column). make sure to color the outer half of the eyes. and blend well (try not to let any harse line shows)...
next, add the blue starting at the lashline of the outer half of the eyes. goes all the way to the end, and all the way up to create a tail..here i used l
ancome focus duo in midnight blue, mixed with coastal scents last blue. will update again on the number. it looks abit turqouise here though, but in real, it is a royal blue.
after that, using a pencil brush, drag the blue to the lower lashline, to the outer half of the eyes. and blend using q-tip or small brush.
then, add the make up forever star powder green to the 1/3 of the middle part of the lower lashline.
then, add a little of
the glittery cream from anna sui, at the inner corner of the lower lashline, and add the shimmery yellow from the face essentials using a very small brush (short definition brush), and a little of the
yellowish gold diamond powder from make up forever.
this is roughly all done with the shadows, next will be the usual liner. here, i use
bobbi brown long wear gel eyeliner in black ink. just create a very thin, natural liner. since it has all the colors above, i don't want the liner to outdo the shadows.
the follows by fake eyelashes. here i show the unused fake eyelashes. it's from taiwan and a courtesy from
eyelashguru...i love this, coz it's does create volume, and yet, still look natural.
lastly, the rest of the face. since the eyes are the main point, i just used a little of shimmery pinkish golden blush on for the cheekbones, and coral lipglosses (here, i mixed
l'oreal juicy glam no. it's a very nice coral gloss, but i find it too red for my lips, since i have red lips, so i add
dior lipgloss no. it's a very nice golden shimmery clear gloss)
hope you girls enjoy it. anyways, i'm going to do quite alot of other world cup this month. so anybody have any requests, drop me a message in the shout out box yeah?:)

been watching movies while doing my souvenirs... so guess i have nothing to blog, i'll just give some reviews on movies i watched then. my first and most favorite above all, the ones that i guess i'll remember it maybe for the rest of my life. just like those other movies that i watched, and remembered till now... i mean this one, the story is simple, a viking that's different from others. different from the rest, and yet, he found his way to deal with it... accepting his own weakness, and embrace it, not seeing it as a weakness, but as the strength instead...
another lesson to learn is seek to understand whoever, whatever that you don't know before you start on judging whoever, whatever it is. sometimes, the things, or the people you think is attacking you, are just defending themselves.... just like these dragons... yes, maybe they kill hundreds of us, but we do kill thousands of them too... think about those wild animals... sometimes, i always believe that it's just defending themselves... and don't really mean to attack us... i love this movie really... and my favorite dragon... the night fury... love him... love love love him...:P

it's a sudden order from one of my client. it's made from china pearls, which is extremely affordable, and plastic fake crystals, and local glass beads... she has tied budget, as it will only be worn once, and it's a simple get together bridal shower with friends and relatives. so this is what i came up with... it was fun though and i add a bit here and there some real swarovski crystals for the BLING and all...i got the inspiration from a wedding magazine, and i thought i would be nice this way. and it did...
in fact, i'm planning to do it with real swarovsky crystals and japanese glass beads once i have the time to, since now i've been busy with the coming up souvenirs as i'm a month behind. wish me luck with this souvenir thingy, hopefully it'll be finished by end of the month. it has to finish by the end of the month. and now, it's already 18th... huahhhh... ok, i'm off to working on the souvenirs again, will update on the you girls once i've finished ok?:) sorry bout the 'never to be done' make up tutorials... will do once my souvenirs are finished yeah?:) wish me luck!!!

been quite lazy and run out of idea for a few days now. maybe it's just a plain lazy, or too tired or just plain running out of idea. which i don't usually believe about. i mean ideas is something we could think about, a renewed design or thoughts from what you've seen, and processed in your brain, and come up with your style and taste. provided you have a good taste that is, deffinitely something better than the previous design, something more fresh, something with a different style altogether. but well, that's what i love about design. i mean unless you are a true copycat, i love the evolution of design. i mean look at the fashion now. it's 80s style deffinitely, but if you compared side by side the things from the 1980s and now, it's different. it's just different. i can't really explain it, but with the romp, fluffy shoulder, leggings, teared jeans... it's simply an improved 1980s style. and i love it that way...
will have to do it tomorrow, see what i could come up with. will do the drawings tonight though. hope i could find some inspirations somewhere...:)

2. my beauty diary masks (sake yeast, yogurt, and black cherry chocolate... guess i'm totally addicted to these masks!!! )
3. some of the testers as gifts. love these items. will try these one by one though:)

tried the skinfood peach sake pore care BB cream today. and felt 'ok'...medium coverage. good oil-control. hmm not much of the radiance effect though... tried BRTC blemish recover. i find that it's abit too fair for my skin. it does blend off in a few minutes though. but i just felt bit uneasy with a 'too fair' face walking around even for a while...still love love love the banila co let me bebe nude... super nice on me. glowing radiance. and it doesn't makes my skin feel supple after washing.
bout olive hand lotion and lavender body cream from L'occitane. love the smell...
currently using the body shop's olive loving hearts hand cream, smells supperrrrr nice, but just felt bit drying on my skin. hmm... wonder, only the body shop's lotions makes me feel that way. i mean, like dryer texture, and you do can feel the flakiness here and there when i use their lotions. i mean those lotions does smells really good though, but i do know that those with good smells usually doesn't really do any good for the skin. together with the alcohol contents and all, might not be so good. so... yeah... i guess i'm going to just finish those body shop's things and just stop using it.
ohya, btw, i went for pedicure and manicure today. love the colors on me. show you guys tomorrow yeah...:)

many people wondering how do i maintain, and what do i do when i go out. frankly, i seldom go out with make up, the fact that i'm with a baby is making me running here and there for her instead of for myself. so, this is my quick and easy fix, no make up look, as everybody can do it. bear in mind that this is my first make up tutorial, so mind me:) i have alot of pictures on, to make it as detail as possible:)
this is a freshly washed face. can see that my eyes is abit red, coz i just put on my contacts.
i always put on toner and essence together. to make sure that my face is fresh for the make up to stick on
next, is my moisturizer and sunscreen. i have moisturizer with SPF, here is garnier white light SPF15. i usually also put this moisturizer when it comes to night make up. just a habit for me though:)
i used to have liquid foundation after this step. but i switched to BB cream a few months ago. and i prefer this, as it does feel lighter:) this is BRTC Blemish Recover.
then i use my concealor just to cover some leftover redness from the BB cream. in here, i use erase paste by benefit. i cover my undereye (since i haven't really slept well, with my baby around), my ends of the eyes (i always have this discolorations here, guess i'm just born with this... but some people don't really have it, so they can just skip this step)
then my blush. here i use blush tint, benetint by benefit. i love this, as it gives the most natural flush of blush. i mean if later you wanna add something else as blush afterwards as finishing, it's fine. this is just a quicky and natural finish for me. but bear in mind that the blending is indeed the most important here. i've seen people using tint, and didn't blend evenly. the lines shows. so be very thorough here. OH ya... and also, blend while you are smiling. this why, it gives a very good definition at the apples of the cheeks.
then my eyelid primer. it gives a freshness and covers up the discoloration of the eyelids. here i use lemon aid by benefit.
lastly, i dust loose powder generously all over the face just to set all the BB cream, concealor, and the tint, and lemonaid. here i use la praire translucent cellular treatment powder. it has very light texture, and yet, luminous feel.
then i use brown shaper by bobbi brown. it's a sort of mascara, but meant for eyebrows. if those of you who are not confident with the colored ones, you can choose the clear ones. it's available in most well known cosmetics brands, like benefit, bobbi brown, MAC, etc. this is to make sure that the hair of the eyebrows are really tidy and neat. it gives a feel of 'done'.
then my eyebrightener, which is none other than my mascara. here i use diorshow iconic and diorshow blackout. iconic gives an effect of lengthening, and blackout gives the effect of thickness. at the very end, i add dejavu finishing mascara. this gives a lengthening and blackening effect. as well as to protect the mascara since this dejavu has the ability to protect the mascara from smudging on my cheeks when i laugh. so it's to prevent smudging onto my lower lids.
lastly, my lipgloss. here i use lip polish by dior, limited edition spring color.it's a simple make up though, and can be done in less than 5 minutes when you are in hurry for school or office... the purpose is just to brighten the face up so as not to look so dull as the bareskin. whereas for me, it's also acts as a protector from the free radicals and dirts. since jakarta is so dirty with the air pollution and all. i simply do this to protect my face, but at the same time, not to irritate the skin...:)
hope it helps. and mind my handphone camera. going to buy 1 soon. hope it's better than this:)
