been watching movies while doing my souvenirs... so guess i have nothing to blog, i'll just give some reviews on movies i watched then. my first and most favorite above all, the ones that i guess i'll remember it maybe for the rest of my life. just like those other movies that i watched, and remembered till now... i mean this one, the story is simple, a viking that's different from others. different from the rest, and yet, he found his way to deal with it... accepting his own weakness, and embrace it, not seeing it as a weakness, but as the strength instead...
another lesson to learn is seek to understand whoever, whatever that you don't know before you start on judging whoever, whatever it is. sometimes, the things, or the people you think is attacking you, are just defending themselves.... just like these dragons... yes, maybe they kill hundreds of us, but we do kill thousands of them too... think about those wild animals... sometimes, i always believe that it's just defending themselves... and don't really mean to attack us... i love this movie really... and my favorite dragon... the night fury... love him... love love love him...:P

it's a sudden order from one of my client. it's made from china pearls, which is extremely affordable, and plastic fake crystals, and local glass beads... she has tied budget, as it will only be worn once, and it's a simple get together bridal shower with friends and relatives. so this is what i came up with... it was fun though and i add a bit here and there some real swarovski crystals for the BLING and all...i got the inspiration from a wedding magazine, and i thought i would be nice this way. and it did... in fact, i'm planning to do it with real swarovsky crystals and japanese glass beads once i have the time to, since now i've been busy with the coming up souvenirs as i'm a month behind. wish me luck with this souvenir thingy, hopefully it'll be finished by end of the month. it has to finish by the end of the month. and now, it's already 18th... huahhhh... ok, i'm off to working on the souvenirs again, will update on the you girls once i've finished ok?:) sorry bout the 'never to be done' make up tutorials... will do once my souvenirs are finished yeah?:) wish me luck!!!

been quite lazy and run out of idea for a few days now. maybe it's just a plain lazy, or too tired or just plain running out of idea. which i don't usually believe about. i mean ideas is something we could think about, a renewed design or thoughts from what you've seen, and processed in your brain, and come up with your style and taste. provided you have a good taste that is, deffinitely something better than the previous design, something more fresh, something with a different style altogether. but well, that's what i love about design. i mean unless you are a true copycat, i love the evolution of design. i mean look at the fashion now. it's 80s style deffinitely, but if you compared side by side the things from the 1980s and now, it's different. it's just different. i can't really explain it, but with the romp, fluffy shoulder, leggings, teared jeans... it's simply an improved 1980s style. and i love it that way...
will have to do it tomorrow, see what i could come up with. will do the drawings tonight though. hope i could find some inspirations somewhere...:)

been busy these few days. grandma is in the hospital. and i have to take care of my little one alone since everyone is busy with my grandma. hope she's getting better there. just started to do some accessories today. new items coming up hopefully next week. just wait and see yeah?:)
received my package today!!!! YAY!!!

1. BRTC pore tightening serum (hope this works... going to test drive once my tester of kanebo blanchir superior white luster has finished, maybe a few days more... with my channel age delay serum, hopefully in these 2 days. can't wait to try the BRTC :P )

2. my beauty diary masks (sake yeast, yogurt, and black cherry chocolate... guess i'm totally addicted to these masks!!! )

3. some of the testers as gifts. love these items. will try these one by one though:)

i just change my personal make up pouch from the canon (given by canon datascrip when i did the make up for some of their photoshoots ) to aigner (taken from genting, KL by my mom and dad...)... gonna show you guys what's in inside soon yeah?:)

oh and i just finished my garnier light spf 15 moisturizer to suisse programme sunblock lotion spf 30 broad spectrum. it's my favorite sunblock of all time though... just that it's quite expensive at times when discounts are not given...:( have to find alternatives for this though... something that i might like too:)

tried the skinfood peach sake pore care BB cream today. and felt 'ok'...medium coverage. good oil-control. hmm not much of the radiance effect though... tried BRTC blemish recover. i find that it's abit too fair for my skin. it does blend off in a few minutes though. but i just felt bit uneasy with a 'too fair' face walking around even for a while...still love love love the banila co let me bebe nude... super nice on me. glowing radiance. and it doesn't makes my skin feel supple after washing.
bout olive hand lotion and lavender body cream from L'occitane. love the smell...
currently using the body shop's olive loving hearts hand cream, smells supperrrrr nice, but just felt bit drying on my skin. hmm... wonder, only the body shop's lotions makes me feel that way. i mean, like dryer texture, and you do can feel the flakiness here and there when i use their lotions. i mean those lotions does smells really good though, but i do know that those with good smells usually doesn't really do any good for the skin. together with the alcohol contents and all, might not be so good. so... yeah... i guess i'm going to just finish those body shop's things and just stop using it.
ohya, btw, i went for pedicure and manicure today. love the colors on me. show you guys tomorrow yeah...:)

many people wondering how do i maintain, and what do i do when i go out. frankly, i seldom go out with make up, the fact that i'm with a baby is making me running here and there for her instead of for myself. so, this is my quick and easy fix, no make up look, as everybody can do it. bear in mind that this is my first make up tutorial, so mind me:) i have alot of pictures on, to make it as detail as possible:)this is a freshly washed face. can see that my eyes is abit red, coz i just put on my contacts.
i always put on toner and essence together. to make sure that my face is fresh for the make up to stick on
next, is my moisturizer and sunscreen. i have moisturizer with SPF, here is garnier white light SPF15. i usually also put this moisturizer when it comes to night make up. just a habit for me though:)
i used to have liquid foundation after this step. but i switched to BB cream a few months ago. and i prefer this, as it does feel lighter:) this is BRTC Blemish Recover.
then i use my concealor just to cover some leftover redness from the BB cream. in here, i use erase paste by benefit. i cover my undereye (since i haven't really slept well, with my baby around), my ends of the eyes (i always have this discolorations here, guess i'm just born with this... but some people don't really have it, so they can just skip this step)
then my blush. here i use blush tint, benetint by benefit. i love this, as it gives the most natural flush of blush. i mean if later you wanna add something else as blush afterwards as finishing, it's fine. this is just a quicky and natural finish for me. but bear in mind that the blending is indeed the most important here. i've seen people using tint, and didn't blend evenly. the lines shows. so be very thorough here. OH ya... and also, blend while you are smiling. this why, it gives a very good definition at the apples of the cheeks.
then my eyelid primer. it gives a freshness and covers up the discoloration of the eyelids. here i use lemon aid by benefit.
lastly, i dust loose powder generously all over the face just to set all the BB cream, concealor, and the tint, and lemonaid. here i use la praire translucent cellular treatment powder. it has very light texture, and yet, luminous feel.
then i use brown shaper by bobbi brown. it's a sort of mascara, but meant for eyebrows. if those of you who are not confident with the colored ones, you can choose the clear ones. it's available in most well known cosmetics brands, like benefit, bobbi brown, MAC, etc. this is to make sure that the hair of the eyebrows are really tidy and neat. it gives a feel of 'done'.
then my eyebrightener, which is none other than my mascara. here i use diorshow iconic and diorshow blackout. iconic gives an effect of lengthening, and blackout gives the effect of thickness. at the very end, i add dejavu finishing mascara. this gives a lengthening and blackening effect. as well as to protect the mascara since this dejavu has the ability to protect the mascara from smudging on my cheeks when i laugh. so it's to prevent smudging onto my lower lids.
lastly, my lipgloss. here i use lip polish by dior, limited edition spring color.it's a simple make up though, and can be done in less than 5 minutes when you are in hurry for school or office... the purpose is just to brighten the face up so as not to look so dull as the bareskin. whereas for me, it's also acts as a protector from the free radicals and dirts. since jakarta is so dirty with the air pollution and all. i simply do this to protect my face, but at the same time, not to irritate the skin...:)
hope it helps. and mind my handphone camera. going to buy 1 soon. hope it's better than this:)

my sista just came back from Singapore. asked her to buy some things for me... hehehe.. these are some amazing items. especially the eyeshadows from marjolica majorca. just so you know, which most of people doesn't, marjolica majorca is actually a baby drugstore cosmetic line by SHISEIDO. it doesn't really looked like it's owned by shiseido though. but that's the fact. i just found out a few days ago when i wanted to search for the eyeshadow palette in order to ask my sista to buy which one. so here it is. nice color heh? i'd do some tutorials on these though. realized that many indonesian beauty bloggers don't really do tutorials. so i might begin some:) bought their mascara too, since it has so much raves about it everywhere.

been busy lately and didn't really had the time to update you guys:)however, i've read some of the chapters in 'THE ORIGINAL BEAUTY BIBLE' and found this, which is quite true to follow and your skin will tend to be more 'obedient' at times. it's actually called '10 beauty commandments everyone should know' by PAULA BEGOUN
1. THOU SHALT NOT believe expensive cosmetics are better than inexpensive cosmetics
2. THOU SHALT NOT believe there is any such thing as a natural cosmetics(or that natural means better)
3. THOU SHALT NOT believe in miracle ingredients that can cure skin care woes
4. THOU SHALT NOT covet thy neighbour's perfect skin (or believe her perfect skin came from a particular product or cosmetics line, skin is much more complicated than that)
5. THOU SHALT NOT believe everything a cosmetics salesperson tells you
6. THOU SHALT NOT believe in the existence of anti-wrinkle, firming, toning, lifting, or filling-in creams , lotions, or masks that can permanently erase wrinkles
7. THOU SHALT NOT be seduced by every new promotions, new products, or new line that the cosmetics industry creates
8. THOU SHALT NOT get a tan. SUN IS YOUR ENEMY!!! not your friend, it is the primary reason that skin wrinkles, and develops skin cancer (and it isn't just about getting sunburns and all, turning skin brown is equally as damaging when done on a regular basis)
9. THOU SHALT NOT buy a cellulite cream. nor shalt thou assume it's possible to dissolve fats from outside in, because you absolutely cannot! if these products works, who would have cellulites?
10. THOU SHALT NOT see pictures of pubescent, anorexic models (who spends 2 hours getting their hair and make up done and another 2 hours posing while the photographer and a corps of assitants determine the most flattering lighting, after which the result picture goes to a battery of digitally enhanced touch ups and adjustments) and believe you will get the same (or even similar) results from using the products being advertised. that is, unless you happen to be pubescent, anorexic, and a model and can somehow stay in the right lighting all the time.

well, some of the things is totally true. especially 5,7,8,9,10. talking about number 6, mark there, CANNOT PERMANENTLY ERASE wrinkles. thus, do use those things AS preventions. most of people asks me, when can i use anti-wrinkle creams? or those anti wrinkles are for women aged 50s and above right? well, as for me, i start to use anti-wrinkles, or at least age-delay serums at the age of 25. reason being is that i do feel the difference between being 'early 20s' and 'late 20s'. my skin texture changes. i even feels my face changes. so, to delay any further changes on the skin textures and all, i uses all those 'anti-wrinkle creams meant for women over 50s'. bear in mind that you cannot erase any wrinkles that is on your face. but you do can prevent further damage.
ohya!!! and also a reminder AGAIN!!!! that bad sunrays does COMES IN THROUGH WINDOWS!!!! so unless you have all the 4 walls and NO WINDOWS house, you should use sunscreen at any point of time INSIDE THE HOUSE!!!!
and about number 4, just to tell you that this is true, especially if you don't know how the person lead her life. i mean the way she exercises, eats, and sleeps, or even works, does affects how her skin looks like!
and number 3. noted "NO MIRACLE INGREDIENTS" that works! but some ingredients does works their ways out! this is just a warning to bear in mind that, don't expect too much from a products to work immediately, especially as what is promised in the advertisements, within 10 days, or 2 weeks, or maybe a month. it's impossible to do that, except it's all depends on how you lead your life, again, it's your way of taking care of your skin, your way of eating good healthy food, and the way you stressing your skin, by exposing it too much to the sun, and sleepless nights and all. so do bear that in mind!
now, number 1 and 2, is especially true, when some people are only using products from 1 cosmetics' brands. well, for me, it doesn't work that way. i use different brands for different uses. and everybody is questioning that. i uses different brands, as i do believe that some brands only good at certain things. some people don't think so, they believe too much on advertisements (whereas for me, since i came from marketing background, so i don't believe those at all)... you know, some brands like maybelline, it has terrific mascaras, but terrible foundations. it does have 'ok' concealor though. brands like 'dior' are especially good with their lipglosses, and i'm in love with it, but i don't really like their 'eyeshadows'. so well, this is just a thought for you girls to think about. just for your information, i lists here for the skincare regime i uses!

1. cleansing
cleansing water 'gee, that was quick' by benefit - i found this especially good to clean mascaras
cleansing oil by shu uemura to clean the rest of the face
cleansing foam by aqua juju (japan brand)

2. toner
skinfood cucumber (going to change this to peach sake though, feel like trying:P )
SK II facial treatment essence/miracle water (i use this to maintain, NOT CHANGE! in a long run, i believe it helps)

3. serums
i uses alot of serums, age delay serums by channel, water bank essence by laneige, hyaluronic acid essence by aqua juju, sana soya lotion. i use this depends on my work activities.

4. moisturizers
morning: garnier light spf 15, but going to change this very soon!! used to use laneige emulsion 2
night: water sleeping pack by laneige, and my favorite dr.ci-labo super moisture collagen gel

5. sunscreens
suisse programme sunblock SPF 30 broad spectrum and dr.ci-labo moisture milk SPF 30++

6. facial masks
just so you know, i uses mask every alternate day, or latest, every 3 days. not once a week:) and i do use my masks in cycles basis.
my beauty diaries (i have lavender, aloe, cherry blossoms, apple, white peony tea, white truffle, camellia, white rose, and red vine), laneige strawberry yogurt pack, skinfood pore diet peppermint wash off mask, and everything else i bought in small amount just to try out whether those works..:P

7.ampoules
i do use ampoules if i have sleepless nights with deadlines to meet. it's to maintain your skin vitality:) currently uses janssens and BRTC collagen ampoules.

8. BB creams
lohashill essential BB cream, gowoonsesang BB cream, and some tones of samples. from samples, i really like banila co let me be nude. my favorite so far after feverlet HD.

9. scrubs/exfoliators
paula's choice AHA 2% gel, strawberry peel by laneige. tried netrogena deep-clean scrub, but i just don't like it. salicylic acid gel from NIKS and aspirin mask mixed with yogurt of my choice
